Detent Pins - Non locking quick release pin
A detent pin is a quick release fastener with one or two balls to engage the
fastener. The balls are either spring loaded or single ball pins can have a
polyurethane support. This holds the balls out until sufficient pressure is
applied to the ring forcing the balls into the body.
This pin is only suitable in shear load only applications.
A non threaded fastener, allowing the rapid installation and removal of parts without tooling.
